On arrival at the Srinagar Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative who will assist and escort you to your waiting vehicle. From the airport it is a 35 minutes drive through the heart of New Srinagar city. The drive takes you past the Abdullah Bridge which connects the banks of the Jhelum River, snaking its way towards the North-Western frontier of Kashmir. Arrive and check in at the Hotel / Houseboat. Later some half a day of local sightseeing of Srinagar which includes the Mughal Gardens, visiting Chashma Shahi. The garden was developed on the orders of Emperor Shah Jahan in 1632 by Ali Mardan Khan around an abundant spring emerging from the slopes of the Zabarwan Mountains. The waters of the spring are renowned for their cool and rejuvenating qualities; Nishat Bagh built by Asaf Khan, the brother -in- law of Jehangir in 1632 AD, and Shalimar Bagh built by Jehangir for his wife empress Nur Jahan. Built in between a period of 14 years the two gardens are a heritage left behind by the erstwhile Mughals, whose taste for laying exquisite gardens was fascinating. All the gardens are situated on the banks of the Dal Lake with the Zabarwan hills in the background. Dinner and Overnight Stay in Hotel at Srinagar.
After Breakfast, a full day excursion of Sonmarg which is one of the most beautiful drives from Srinagar. Sonmarg is at 98kms from Srinagar. It will take about 3 hours to reach Sonmarg. Sonmarg is the last stop of Kashmir District. From here starts the territory of Ladakh. Situated at an altitude of 2743 m above sea level, Sonmarg is absolutely true to its name, which means 'Meadow of Gold'. The moment you enter Sonmarg, the first thing that you will notice will be the snow-covered mountain that forms the backdrop of the town. Covered with alpine trees from all sides, Sonmarg has few of the loveliest flower collections in Jammu and Kashmir. You may take a pony ride (at your own cost) to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year. In evening, return to Srinagar Hotel for Dinner & Overnight Stay.
Srinagar-Doodhpathari – Srinagar As soon as you complete your breakfast you make a move to Sight-seeing and proceed towards Doodhpathri or “Valley of Milk”, situated 40 kms from Srinagar is definitely an unexplored place in Kashmir. If you plan to visit Kashmir sometimes, you should take a little time off to visit this beautiful and enchanting place. You will certainly love the green meadows, pristine environment and serenity. After you are done with the Doodhpatri expedition you can drive back to Srinagar and on the way to have a look of Tangnar, Mujhpatri and Palmaidan and in the evening stay back to Srinagar. Overnight stay with dinner.
After Breakfast, we check out of the Hotel in Srinagar and proceed to Gulmarg. On arrival check in to the Hotel. Gulmarg is one of the most beautiful resorts in the valley. It is at 52kms from Srinagar. Gulmarg has been a resort for the kings like Yousuf Shah Chak and Jahangir who used to visit frequently. Gulmarg boasts Asia's highest and longest cable car project, the Gulmarg Gondola (at your own Cost). The two-stage ropeway ferries about 600 people per hour to and from Kongdoori Mountain, a shoulder of nearby Affarwat Peak (4,200 m (13,780 ft). You can also try skiing on your own. Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and also has the highest golf course in the world with 18 holes. Dinner & Overnight Stay in Hotel at Gulmarg.
After Breakfast, we check out of the Hotel in Gulmarg and proceed to Pahalgam. On arrival check in to the Hotel. Pahalgam (Valley of Shepherds) on the National Highway 1A. After reaching Pahalgam we visit Kashmir Valley, Deban and Baisaran by Pony (at your own Cost). Dinner & Overnight Stay in Hotel at Pahalgam.
After Breakfast, we visit Pahalgam Sightseeing, Aru Valley /Betaab valley and Chandanwari (at your own Cost). Arguably Pahalgam is one of the most beautiful places on earth; the town of Pahalgam offers breathtaking views of Himalayas. Dinner & Overnight Stay in Hotel at Pahalgam.
After Breakfast, we check out of the Hotel in Pahalgam and proceed to Srinagar. On arrival check in to the Houseboat. In the evening, enjoy a one hour “Shikara Ride” in famous Dal Lake. Dinner and Overnight Stay in a Houseboat at Dal Lake.
After Breakfast, time free till departure. Transfer by car to Srinagar airport for departure to the next destination.
