Begin your journey early in the morning from Ahmedabad and proceed towards the holy city of Dwarka, one of the Char Dhams and a significant pilgrimage site. En route, you may stop at Jamnagar to visit the renowned Bala Hanuman Temple, known for its continuous Ram dhun chanting. Upon reaching Dwarka, check in to your hotel. In the evening, visit the revered Dwarkadhish Temple and attend the beautiful aarti. Overnight stay in Dwarka.
After breakfast, head out for sightseeing in and around Dwarka. Visit the Nageshwar Jyotirling Temple (approx. 18 km from Dwarka), then drive to Okha jetty to take a boat to Bet Dwarka, believed to be the residence of Lord Krishna. On your return, visit the Rukmini Devi Temple, located about 2 km from the main town, and Gopi Talav, a serene place associated with the stories of Krishna and the gopis. Spend the evening at leisure exploring Dwarka or relaxing by the sea. Overnight stay in Dwarka.
After breakfast, check out and begin your drive to Somnath. En route, halt at Porbandar (approx. 100 km / 2 hrs from Dwarka) to visit Kirti Mandir, the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi. Continue your journey to Somnath (approx. 130 km from Porbandar). Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. In the evening, visit the grand Somnath Jyotirling Temple, located right by the sea. Also explore Bhalka Tirth and Triveni Sangam, sacred spots steeped in mythology. Don’t miss the spectacular light & sound show (subject to availability) in the temple complex. Overnight stay in Somnath.
After breakfast, depart for Sasan Gir, famous for being the last refuge of the Asiatic lions. On arrival, check in to your jungle resort. You can choose to relax or take an evening Devaliya Park Safari, which is a short version of the Gir jungle experience in a fenced area. If time permits and slots are available, opt for the Gir Jungle Safari, which offers a thrilling ride into the heart of the forest. Overnight stay in Gir.
